Miyu Lee

Miyu Lee began their work experience in 1997 as an Associate at Wolf Theiss law firm. Miyu then worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they became the Head of Legal Europe at Hyundai Motor Europe until 2007. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Research Assistant at ESMT. Miyu also worked as a Lecturer/Dr.rer.pol. at Humboldt University Berlin from 2008 to 2015. In 2015, Miyu joined Blacklane GmbH as a Senior Legal Counsel until 2016. Miyu then served as the Director Legal and General Counsel at BillPay GmbH from 2017 to 2017. Miyu progressed to various roles at Klarna, starting as the Director Legal DACH from 2017 to 2018 and eventually becoming the Legal Director, Klarna Media, Klarna Media Legal Team Lead, and Syndikusrechtsanwältin from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Mondu beginning in 2022.

Miyu Lee's education history includes obtaining a degree in Law from Harvard Law School, where they received an LL.M. degree. Miyu also pursued their academic studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, specializing in VWL (Economics), and obtained a Dr.rer.pol. degree. Additionally, Miyu attended the University of Vienna, where they completed their studies in Jura and obtained a Mag.iur. degree. Miyu also attended Kollegium Kalksburg, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this institution.

In terms of certifications, Miyu is a Rechtsanwältin (Deutschland) obtained from Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin in November 2021.
