Brian Gocool has a diverse range of work experience. Brian started their career at TELUS, where they worked as a Data and Network Manager and later as a National Training Specialist. Brian then moved on to Philips Lifeline Canada, where they served as the Director of Subscriber Sales and Services, responsible for developing and leading the strategy for various sales and service functions. Following this, Gocool joined Sunwing Travel Group as the National Director of Sales Centres, overseeing multiple sales call centres and focusing on continuous improvement initiatives. Currently, they are working at Moneris as the Vice President of Sales, leading the Independent Business Sales Centre channel and developing plans and strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Additionally, Gocool has also worked as a part-time instructor at George Brown College.
Brian Gocool began their education at Ryerson University from 1991 to 1994, where they studied Business Management and Marketing, although they did not obtain a degree. In 2007, they attended Queen's University for the Operations Leadership Program. In addition to their formal education, Brian Gocool has obtained several certifications, including "Building Your Visibility as a Leader," "Executive Influence," "Leadership Mindsets," "The Five Conversations That Deliver Accountability and Performance," and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers," all obtained from LinkedIn in May 2021.
