Meirav Har Noy

Founder, Managing Partner at Moneta VC

Meirav brings to Moneta two decades of experience as an investor with some of the world’s leading VCs. Moneta is Meirav’s third venture capital firm. In 1997, she joined Intel Capital, a world-leading corporate venture capital arm of Intel corporation. Meirav played a pivotal role in Intel Capital’s investment in some 10 companies during her five-year tenure. Later in her career, Meirav joined Apax Partners, a leading international investment private equity fund. During her five-year tenure at Apax Partners, Meirav was involved in six technology investments. Recently, Meirav served as the CEO of Iris Ventures, a technology incubator that is supported by the Chief Scientist.

Meirav’s experience as a technology investor, board member and CEO has given her a broad point of view that translates into tremendous added value, which she brings to her companies. Meirav has specialized in making wireless and mobile investments and in advising the managements and boards of leading cyber security companies. Seven of the companies at which Meirav was serving as an investor or board member have made it all the way to a successful exit. Meirav’s most interesting technology success stories include: Panaya (Enterprise SW) that was sold to Infosys; Storwize (Storage) that was sold to IBM; Fiberxon (Optical Coms) that was sold to MRV; and Aeroscout (Wireless SW) that was sold to Stanley Healthcare. Meirav graduated with honors from Bar Ilan University with a BA in Economics and Political Science. She has an MBA from Ben Gurion University, majoring in corporate financing. Meirav grew up in Silicon Valley until the age of 18, when she came back to Israel to join the IDF.
