Leonard Tan

Leonard Tan currently serves as the Director of the Supervisory Platforms Division at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) since July 2023. Prior to this role, Leonard held the position of Executive Director at DBS Bank from November 2014 to July 2023, where significant advancements in software development and deployment were achieved, including the implementation of Site Reliability Engineering and the creation of a proprietary Chaos Engineering platform. Leonard also served as Vice President of Business Technology Services at UOB from October 2012 to October 2014, focusing on digital product development for consumer banking, and as Associate Director at Ernst & Young from January 2011 to December 2012, providing IT advisory services. Earlier experience includes work as Head of Application Services Delivery at Barclays, where automation of application deployment processes was a key achievement. Leonard's educational background includes a Bachelor in Computing, Information Systems from Monash University and a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
