Prasanth Kumar Karunakaran

Prasanth Kumar Karunakaran is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and operations. Currently serving as Director & Specialist Leader at the Monetary Authority of Singapore since September 2019, Prasanth heads Technology Architecture, Engineering, and Operations. Prior roles include Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Site Reliability Engineering and Vice President of Enterprise Operations at DBS Bank, as well as Senior Manager of Capacity Management at Standard Chartered Bank. Prasanth also held key positions at Barclays Bank, leading Enterprise Tools & Systems Management in both Singapore and across Africa & Corporate Asia, and served as AVP at Citibank. Prasanth holds an MBA in E-commerce from Annamalai University, earned between 2002 and 2004.
