Helena Margarido has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2013 with their role as Co-Founder of Bitinvest, a former cryptocurrency exchange. In 2016, they took on the role of Managing Partner at SuM Law, Advisor at The Media Trade, and Advisor at Mídia Legal. In 2017, they became an Associated Publisher and Analist & Writer at Inversa Publicações. In 2019, they took on the role of Colunista at Money Times. In 2021, they became Co-founder & Head of Crypto Research at Monett and Member of the Advisory Board for the Alternative Wealth Network at Money Map Press. Lastly, in 2022, they became COO and Advisor at Kodo Assets and Columnist at InvestNews BR.

Helena Margarido began their educational journey at Colégio Emilie de Villeneuve from 1991 to 1998. Helena then attended Colegio Etapa from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained their high school diploma. In 2002, they enrolled in Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Law, which they completed in 2006. In 2008 and 2009, they attended Universidade Católica Portuguesa, though it is unclear what they studied there. In 2009, they obtained an LLM in Business Law from the University of Illinois College of Law. Finally, from 2012 to 2013, they attended Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo, where they worked towards a Bachelor of Economics, though they did not complete the degree.
