Peter Kaplan (he/him)

Peter Kaplan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Peter is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Monex USA (formerly Tempus, Inc), where they are responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the IT department's initiatives. Prior to that, they served on the Board of Directors of US Games Systems, Inc. Peter also worked at Capital One as part of the Enterprise Architecture team.

In their previous roles, Peter Kaplan held positions such as Director, Technical Program Manager at Karsun Solutions, LLC, where they led the delivery of multiple GSA acquisition systems. Peter was also the Chief Technology Officer at Corbel Community Solutions, where they developed and marketed a Software as a Service (SaaS) online program registration product.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Development Infostructure (Devis) as an Agile Program Manager, leading the design and development of various projects including the Veterans Job Bank. Peter also held the position of CEO in their own technology incubator, Corbel Solutions, where they provided strategic IT planning for local non-profits.

Peter Kaplan has a strong background in software development, having worked on educational and strategy software products at Program Design, Inc and Kinetic Designs. Peter has expertise in various technologies including Ruby on Rails, AJAX, PHP, JavaScript, and ASP.

Throughout their career, Peter Kaplan has demonstrated leadership, project management, and technical skills, and has been recognized for their outstanding work in various roles.

Peter Kaplan (he/him) attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a BSEngineering degree in Computer Science Engineering and a BSEconomics degree in Accounting. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in 2016), the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (obtained in September 2009), the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2 (obtained in 2015), and the Data Science Associate (EMCDSA) certification from EMC. Peter is also a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through Scrum Alliance.
