Duane Porter

Duane Porter has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Duane is currently serving as the Vice President of Professional Development at Money Concepts since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Owner and President of DFP Financial & Consulting starting from July 2019.

From February 2014 to July 2019, Duane worked as a Regional Program Manager at CUSO Financial Services, LP, where they were responsible for the growth and development of investment programs in various regions. Before that, they held various roles at CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc from 2002 to 2013, including Senior National Sales Manager, Lead Regional Sales Manager, Northwest District Manager, and Financial Advisor & Vice President Wealth Management.

Duane also has experience as a Registered Representative at Edward Jones Investments from 1999 to 2002 and as the Owner and Agent of Duane Porter Insurance from 1996 to 1999. Duane began their career as a Store Manager at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. from 1993 to 1996.

Duane Porter completed their Diploma of Completion in Credit Union Management from Western CUNA Management School from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they studied Technology, Economics, and Mathematics at Southern Oregon University, although they did not obtain a degree in this field.
