Caren Chesler

Caren Chesler is a seasoned freelance writer with a career spanning over two decades, beginning in July 2001. Contributions have appeared in prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Wired, Smithsonian, The Washington Post, and Scientific American, among others. Since April 2011, Caren has been a freelance contributor for Popular Mechanics and has been affiliated with NJ Spotlight and New Jersey Monthly Magazine as a contributor and contributing writer, respectively. From January 2007, Caren has also contributed to Private Wealth Magazine and held a membership with the American Society of Journalists and Authors since 2003. Caren's writing expertise extends to copy editing for Fundfire at Money-Media, Inc. Caren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and English from Boston University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
