Maddy Simpson

Maddy Simpson is a seasoned data reporter, currently working at the St. Louis Business Journal since March 2021. In addition to this position, Maddy serves as a board member for the Johnson Center for Journalism and Communication at Bethel University and holds roles as an editor/fact checker at Taboola and as a fact checker for Money. Previous experience includes fact-checking and editing at Dotdash Meredith, a data fellowship at Insider, Inc., and an internship with the Dow Jones News Fund. Maddy's educational background includes a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance and Journalism from Bethel University.
