Giovanni Battaglia

Giovanni Battaglia is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Scala and Java, currently serving as a Senior Scala/Java Software Engineer at Moneyfarm since October 2022. Prior to this role, Giovanni held senior positions at DIMOCO Research Center and Capgemini, focusing on Java development. Giovanni began their professional career as a Java Software Engineer at ION Trading and conducted research as a PhD student at the University of Pisa. Giovanni holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, along with a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the same field, all obtained from the Università di Pisa.
