Gita Eckre, CPA, currently serves as the International Tax Manager at MoneyGram International since June 2022, having previously held various positions at EY over nearly seven years, including International Tax and Transaction Services Manager and Senior. Gita's expertise encompasses managing teams in the preparation of U.S. tax forms related to foreign entities, cross-border transactions, and ASC 740 analysis pertaining to foreign investments, particularly within the financial services sector. Gita's earlier experience includes roles focused on wealth and asset management taxation and providing administrative support in educational settings, complemented by a strong academic background with a Master's Degree in Accounting from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Pre-law from The University of Texas at Arlington.
