Lau Kai Qing

Lau Kai Qing is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MoneyLion since November 2018, Lau is adept at developing, maintaining, and deprecating software products through the SDLC process, focusing on backend solutions. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior Software Engineer and Software Engineer Intern at INFINITI LTD, where Lau developed automated trading systems and analyzed macroeconomic data. Earlier career milestones include serving as an M&E Project Engineer at EV Dynamic Sdn Bhd, overseeing mechanical and electrical services for significant construction projects, and gaining foundational experience in various engineering and technical roles, including positions at ABB, Teledynamic, and as a ride operator. Lau holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Monash University Malaysia.
