Michael Benoit

Michael Benoit has a varied work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career in 1997 as a Software Engineer at Proteome, Inc. and worked there until 1999. Michael then joined Viacom Media Networks as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Director, Technical Lead in 2008. In 2013, they joined MongoDB as the Lead Engineer for MongoDB Cloud Manager, and in 2017 they became the Director, Cloud Core Engineering. Michael is currently the Vice President of Engineering at MongoDB, a position they took on in January 2020. In addition to their corporate roles, they have also worked as a Freelancer since 2002, specializing in composing, music copyist, and technology advising, which they continued until March 2020.
