Shilpa Kolhar

Shilpa Kolhar is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in engineering and product management, primarily at Google. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering at MongoDB since June 2025, Shilpa previously held the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Google from May 2006 to July 2025. Shilpa's expertise spans across Ads, GCP, and Core operations, with significant contributions to projects related to GDPR, DMA, and data residency. A recipient of multiple awards including the Google Citizenship Award, Founders Award, and Google Tech Impact Award, Shilpa played a pivotal role in various large-scale initiatives during tenure. Early career experiences include an internship at Yahoo in 2005. Shilpa holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
