Veronica Cooley-Perry Pmp

Veronica Cooley-Perry has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Veronica currently serves as a Senior Community Manager at MongoDB since 2022. Before that, they worked at Red Hat, where they held multiple positions, including Associate Manager and Team Lead in Global Event Strategy. Veronica also worked as a Global Event Marketing Manager and Coordinator at Red Hat.

Prior to their time at Red Hat, Veronica worked as an Assistant Director at North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2019. Veronica also served as a Residence Hall Director at Northern Arizona University from 2011 to 2012, where they managed student residential communities and facilitated training on sexual diversity.

Earlier in their career, Veronica was the Coordinator of Student Development at Cal Poly State University from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they managed the administration and facilities of a first-year community and coordinated a large orientation program for incoming students. Veronica also worked as a Preston Residential College Residence Hall Director at the University of South Carolina from 2007 to 2009.

Throughout their career, Veronica has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, including certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Veronica Cooley-Perry, PMP, CSM, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Veronica also has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina.

In addition to their educational background, Veronica has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Veronica is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in June 2021. Veronica also holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, obtained in May 2021. Moreover, Veronica is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certified by the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in July 2021.
