Alex Akimov

Alex Akimov is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the fintech sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and VP of Platform Engineering at Monite, Alex is instrumental in developing financial infrastructure solutions for automation in accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management. Prior roles include Head of API at Adyen, where Alex led API design and development initiatives, contributed to company strategy, and represented Adyen in the W3C Advisory Committee, influencing payment standards for modern web technologies. Alex also managed documentation teams at Developer Express, where achievements included establishing high-quality documentation practices and leading the development of a new API Explorer.
