William Ross

William “Bill” Ross began his 30-year career in healthcare technology as an executive for SensorMedics Critical Care. Initially involved in the sales and marketing of their respiratory care product lines, he later drove major business development efforts and guided several key acquisitions in the U.S. and Europe. Ascending to the position of president, he shepherded the organization through acquisitions by Thermo Electron and the subsequent spin-off of VIASYS Healthcare, where he served as interim CEO and later COO. Mr. Ross holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Idaho, and an M.S. in biomedical engineering from Washington University. Prior to joining SensorMedics, he worked on nuclear medicine imaging technology and electronic circuitry development for the automotive industry. He currently serves on the board of directors of several privately held corporations.
