Dao Tran has a diverse work experience, starting as a Student Mentor at FPT University in 2013. In 2013, they also worked as a Back End Developer at VIETEC., CORP, where they utilized the company framework and Yii framework to build the front and back ends for projects. From 2015 to 2016, Dao worked as a Technical Lead at VCCORP, gaining experience with RESTful Web API, front-end web development frameworks and libraries, and various frameworks such as CI, Yii, and Laravel. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Monkey Vietnam, starting in 2017.
From 2012 to 2016, Dao Tran attended FPT University where they studied Computer Software Engineering.

Monkey Viet Nam was established in October 2014. Its main business is Software Publishing in the field of early childhood education with the application Monkey Junior. This app was launched at the time when "Early Education" was still a relatively new concept in Vietnam. At that time, Vietnamese children did not have access to English until 3rd grade, and most of the comprehensive English learning programs were still unaffordable for children in rural areas. With Monkey Junior, Monkey Viet Nam has pioneered the development of early education in Vietnamese market in the hope that Vietnamese children would have access to English learning programs from an early age. With the mission of bringing education to all children through international-standard educational products at an affordable price, Monkey Viet Nam strives to continuously improve its quality to offer customers the best experience. With the product quality and customer experience as its core values, 2 years after the launching date, the initial products of Monkey Viet Nam began to receive prestigious awards from home country and abroad: • First Prize in GIST-Tech I competition 2016 awarded by President Barack Obama • First Prize at Vietnamese Talent 2016 • Gold Prize at ASEAN ICT Awards 2016 • First Prize in Design at the Asian Entrepreneurship Awards From 2016 up to present, Monkey Viet Nam has launched 3 more products under the Monkey brand: Monkey Stories – Excel at English before the age of 10 (2-10 years old) in 2016, Monkey Math – The complete learning program in 2018, and VMonkey – Learning Vietnamese under the New Education Program for Preschool & Primary children in 2019.
