Michael Williams

Michael Williams is an experienced sports professional with a background in soccer coaching and management. Currently serving as a Recreation Leader for Monmouth County Park System since May 2022, Michael has held various roles in the soccer community, including Senior Trainer and Regional Coaching Director at Maestro Soccer Academy since January 2009, and Travel Director & Administrator for FC Berna since August 2016. Previous coaching roles include Head Girls Varsity Soccer Coach at Gill St Bernard's High School until February 2022, and Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Massey High School from February 2004 to November 2007. Additionally, Michael was involved as a Tournament Director for the Morris Showcase Cup from January 2013 to June 2017 and served as Assistant Director of Football for Waitakere City Football Club from February 2003 to February 2006, along with a brief stint as a Professional Football Player for Football Kingz FC. Michael holds a Bachelor of Sports: Management degree from Unitec | Te Pūkenga and has also studied Human Nutrition Food & Exercise at Virginia Tech.
