Zack Karvelas is a communication and environmental specialist with extensive experience in public information, waste management, and community outreach. Currently serving as the Assistant Public Information Officer for Monmouth County Park System, Zack manages newsletters and park brochures. Previous roles include Communications and Waste Management Specialist at Un-Waste, and Environmental Technician/Investigator at GreenWorks Environmental, where Zack conducted air quality inspections and managed remediation reports. As Outreach Associate for Clean Ocean Action, Zack coordinated volunteer programs and educational events, delivering presentations on water-related issues. The Park System is overseen by the Board of Recreation Commissioners who are committed to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Monmouth County by providing open space, park and recreation areas, facilities, programs, and services of the highest quality and to furnishing these recreational and educational opportunities in the most effective, efficient, and economical manner possible.
