Lewis Huxley has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Lewis started their career as a Marketing Assistant and Skill Right Project Coordinator at The JGA Group from 2006 to 2010. Lewis then worked as a Writer and Researcher, where they wrote articles for various publications and produced a documentary film.

Huxley then joined Presse Media 81 as a News Sub-Editor in 2012, before moving to dmg media as a Daily Mail Plus Senior Page Editor from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they were a key member of the launch team for market-leading apps for tablets, designing interactive pages with video, picture galleries, and scrollable frames.

Lewis then worked at Telegraph Media Group as the Daily Telegraph Deputy iPad Editor from 2014 to 2015, where they edited and sourced content for the Telegraph iPad app. Huxley then joined dmg media again as the Daily Mail Plus Deputy Editor from 2015 to 2018, where they edited the Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday app for tablets, smartphones, and smart speakers.

Their most recent role is at Monocle, where they started as the Deputy Chief Sub Editor in 2018, and currently serves as the Chief Sub Editor. In this position, they manage the production process for multiple publications, including the magazine and various email newsletters. Lewis also played a key role in setting up a remote-working system during lockdown and wrote articles for publication.

Lewis Huxley completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative and Professional Writing from the University of South Wales from 2003 to 2006.
