Taj Singh

Taj Singh has extensive experience in finance roles, with their most recent position being the Finance Director at Monocle starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at the London Review of Books from 2019 to 2022, where they also served as the Head of Finance from 2014 to 2019. Before that, Taj worked as a Financial Controller at Allemby Hunt Limited Search & Selection from 2010 to 2011 and as a Management Accountant & Commercial Analyst at Arvato CRM Solutions in 2010. Taj began their career as a Project & Management Accountant at EA Consulting Group from 2008 to 2010, where they also worked as a Management Accountant from 2007 to 2008. Taj's earliest experience was as a Commercial Manager from 2006 to 2007 and as a Commercial Analyst (Sales & Finance) from 2004 to 2006 at Approved.

Taj Singh has a strong education background with a focus on accounting and business analytics. In 2017, they completed their Masters Degree (MSc.) in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. Additionally, Taj has obtained several certifications, including being a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since February 2012, a Sage 50 Advanced Level Practitioner from Sage since August 2007, a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) since December 2006, and a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) since September 2006. Building upon their education and certifications, Taj is currently pursuing a Certificate Post Graduate in Business Analytics from Columbia Business School, with an expected completion year of 2022.
