Matt Lane

Matt Lane is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the middle market debt and equity investments sector, particularly within the healthcare industry. Serving as Managing Director at Monroe Capital LLC since March 2011, Lane leads originations, underwriting, and portfolio management. Previous roles include Credit Officer at PNC in the Corporate and Institutional Banking Division, Vice President positions at both Freeport Financial and Merrill Lynch Capital focusing on healthcare finance, and a Group Financial Officer role at Heller Financial. Lane began his career as a Senior Auditor at ABN AMRO. Educational qualifications include dual degrees in Accountancy and Accounting & Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
