Vince Weiner

Vince Weiner has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Commander in the Special Investigations Division at Monroe County Sheriff's Office since October 2019. Vince also holds a position as Detective for Major Crimes with the United States Marshals Service since October 2016, and works as a Boat Captain for TowBoatUS since June 2016. Previously, Vince served as a Detective in Major Crimes at Monroe County Sheriff's Office until retirement in June 2016, and worked as a Special Agent Supervisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement from 1993 to 2012, focusing on Violent Street Crimes. Vince's career began with the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco from 1989 to 1993, where an Officer of the Year award was received, followed by a tenure as a State Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol from 1983 to 1989, which included providing security for the University of Miami football team. Vince holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Barry University and an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Miami Dade College.
