Michael Taylor is a Senior Metrologist Emeritus with extensive experience in the field of metrology and quality assurance. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Monroe County Community College since August 2010, Michael teaches courses in Statistics, Quality, and Metrology while also having taught multiple Metrology/Quality/Electronics classes. In addition, Michael operates M. Taylor Quality & Metrology Consultations LLC and serves as Section Coordinator for Michigan Section 1135 of NCSL International, facilitating networking opportunities for members. Previously, Michael worked as a Senior Metrologist at DTE Energy's Fermi 2 Nuclear Power Plant, overseeing calibrations across multiple disciplines. Michael's military background includes service in the US Navy, where Michael held the position of Navy Customs QA Manager in Kuwait. Education credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology from Siena Heights University and various certificates in electronics and metrology.
