The Monroe County Intermediate School District is a regional educational services agency including 9 constituent public school districts, 2 charter schools, and 14 non-public schools. The Monroe County Intermediate School District serves as a link between local districts and the Michigan Department of Education, providing sophisticated, specialized and costly services that local districts find impractical to provide on an individual basis.
