Emily Bedwell

Emily Bedwell is an experienced professional in library services, financial management, and marketing. Currently serving as the Adult Services Librarian at Monroe County Public Library since June 2023, Emily previously held the position of Playbill Designer at Constellation Stage & Screen, where responsibilities included designing playbills and collaborating with the ad sales team. As the Director of Finance & Staff Experience at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, management of a multi-million dollar budget was achieved alongside reporting to the board of directors. Emily's background also includes roles as Business Manager & Communications Director, Marketing Manager at BAFT Bloomington Academy of Film & Theater, and Lead Copywriter at 1stBooks Library. Emily holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Indiana University Indianapolis and degrees in English and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Library Technical Assistant certification from Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington.
