Tandalaya Sims-Cochran is a qualified and experienced professional in the field of addiction counseling and social work, holding an Associate’s degree in Chemical Addiction Counseling from Monroe Community College and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College. Currently serving as a Supervising Drug and Alcohol Counselor for Monroe County Sheriff since August 2020, Tandalaya has also worked with Delphi Rise as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor since October 2021 and as Lead Counselor at Willow Domestic Violence Center of Greater Rochester until January 2023. Previous roles include positions as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the Catholic Health System and a Care Manager with Catholic Charities Community Services, alongside earlier experience as a Case Manager at Catholic Family Center and a Financial Counselor at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, Tandalaya is a published author and holds a CASAC-2 certification.
