Paul V. Ciminelli

Paul V. Ciminelli serves as Counsel to the Sheriff for Monroe County since January 2018, acting as a principal legal advisor on law enforcement matters. Paul V.'s multifaceted experience includes hosting and producing a weekly radio show for Valor Radio, holding an Of Counsel position at Stark | Lattuca, and teaching courses on terrorism and homeland security at Monroe Community College. As the former Principal of Ciminelli & Ciminelli, PLLC, Ciminelli provided a wide range of legal services, while also instructing firearm safety through Get Gun Smart, LLC. Paul V.'s extensive background includes serving as a Municipal Code Hearing Examiner for the City of Rochester, founding Range Repair Warehouse, LLC, and advising organizations through O-6 Advisors. With a distinguished military career, Ciminelli achieved the rank of Colonel in the United States Army, specializing in civil military operations and serving in various capacities, including as consulting faculty at the Army Command and General Staff College. Educational credentials include a JD from Rutgers Law School, a Master's in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a BA from the University of Rochester.
