Paul V. Ciminelli serves as Counsel to the Sheriff for Monroe County since January 2018, acting as a principal legal advisor on law enforcement matters. Paul V.'s multifaceted experience includes hosting and producing a weekly radio show for Valor Radio, holding an Of Counsel position at Stark | Lattuca, and teaching courses on terrorism and homeland security at Monroe Community College. The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement service to all of the Florida Keys, which include approximately 125 miles of islands branching off the southern tip of Florida. The main and only highway, U.S. 1 runs from Florida City to Key West, and in that span, there are 42 bridges connecting the islands.
