Michael Leibowitz served as a Councilman in Ward 3 from 1980 to 1984. The voters in Ward 3 elected him in 2009 to serve another four-year term on the governing body. Councilman Leibowitz and his wife Judy reside at 21 South Rhoda Street. He has two adult children. Councilman Leibowitz is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Engineering & Math. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Drury College in Springfield, MO and a CLU from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. He previously served as New Jersey Transit Regional Manager of Government and Community Relations. He is a Vietnam War veteran and currently serves as a Trustee of the Etz Chaim Monroe Township Jewish Center.
