Kathy Wojno, MSN, RN, NEA-BC has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kathy is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Monrovia Memorial Hospital since January 2022. Prior to this role, from July 2021 to January 2022, Kathy worked as the Interim Director of Professional Development & Education at Thaxton Interim Leadership.
Previously, Kathy held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Memorial Hospital of Gardena from June 2015 to February 2020. In this role, they led a range of initiatives to drive growth, safety, quality, and employee engagement. Kathy successfully completed The Joint Commission (TJC) survey for the acute hospital and Annual California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Re-licensure surveys for the Sub-Acute facility.
Before their tenure at Memorial Hospital of Gardena, Kathy operated their own consulting firm, Wojno, Inc., from March 2015 to February 2016. During this time, they provided consultancy services and served as the Administrator/CEO for survey readiness projects.
From January 2013 to September 2014, Kathy served as the VP, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Beverly Hospital. Kathy was responsible for leading several growth, safety, quality, and engagement initiatives and successfully completed DNV surveys.
Kathy also held the role of VP, Nursing Services, CNO at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center from December 2005 to October 2012. Kathy was part of the executive management team and oversaw various departments and services. Kathy led numerous patient care initiatives focusing on growth, quality, recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Prior to their time at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, Kathy worked as a Process Management consultant at Vanguard Health Systems from 2003 to 2005. Kathy acted as a corporate consultant for 19 hospitals, leading initiatives in productivity improvement, patient acuity assessment systems, and patient satisfaction.
Kathy's career at Tenet Healthcare started in 1996. Kathy held the role of Senior Director, Nursing where they developed and executed nursing strategies for 40 facilities in the Western division. Kathy also served as the Regional Director of Professional Development and played a key role in integrating services following an acquisition by Tenet HealthSystem.

Kathy Wojno has a Master's Degree in Nursing Science from California State University. Kathy also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, Kathy Wojno has obtained the certification of Nurse Executive Advanced - Board Certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in January 2015.
