Jake Layman

Jake Layman has accumulated extensive experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in tree fruit management and irrigation. Currently serving in a field management role at Monson Fruit Company since May 2023, Layman previously held positions as a commercial tree fruit managing/irrigation intern and agriculture assistant at the same company. Notable responsibilities included shadowing field managers, working across multiple orchard locations, and gaining insights into various operational areas within fruit warehousing. Prior experience includes a role as a cherry inspector for the Washington State Department of Agriculture, where Layman focused on quality control and compliance with state standards. Jake Layman holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Operations, and Related Sciences from Washington State University, completed in 2023.
