Travis Gibson

Travis Gibson is the co-founder of Monsoon and serves as its Design & Branding Director. He oversees all of Monsoon’s brand and design efforts.

Travis always had an interest in creativity and benefitted from having a family who valued allowing him to express and explore his artistic talents. He took art classes at the local Garden & Arts Center and often watched his grandmother building miniatures while growing up. In high school, Travis was an active art student and also attended digital art and video production classes at the Advanced Technology Center. It was at the ATC that Travis discovered his passion for graphic design.

Though Travis desired to be a professional designer after graduating, life doesn’t always allow for one to follow their dreams right away. Travis has had many life experiences along the way including being a college student, professional retouch artist, church youth director, salesman, and Sprint store manager. All of these things shaped him and paved the way for when he and Caleb became fast friends who’s conversations supernaturally kept steering towards how great it would be to start their own agency and right the wrongs of the industry. To create brands and websites that would actually help people and to run a business that was shaped and directed by the Lord and for the Lord.

Travis is the loving husband to Cecily with a pack of 3 rowdy boys and a single, newly arrived girl. When he’s not building towers, pushing a swing, or teaching kids the names of each sea creature or dinosaur, Travis enjoys playing games of all kinds, reading epic fantasy, curating just the right playlist, going to church and hanging out with family.
