Aaron Geerlings

Aaron Geerlings has held various roles since 2008. In 2008, they were a Tutor at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and in 2009 they were a Marketing Intern at Hilo Brokers, Ltd. In 2010, they were a Property Manager at Hilo Brokers, Ltd. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Business Data Analyst at OrderUp, where they interpreted data, analyzed results, and used advanced analytic techniques to provide insight into operations. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Business Intelligence Analyst at PANDORA A/S, where they developed and documented user requests for business data and worked with the IT BI development team. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Business Intelligence Manager and Business Intelligence Admin and Developer at Newsela, where they decreased the number of ad hoc data requests and increased daily usage of BI tools. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology & Data Officer and Director, Data Warehouse and Analytics at Monster Lead Group, where they are responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and support of the data warehouse, data engineering pipelines, and data marts.

Aaron Geerlings attended the University of Hawai'i System from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a BBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. Aaron also attended Betamore Academy, where they gained knowledge in Data Analytics and Data Science. In 2019, Geerlings obtained a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance.
