Klemen Drole is the current Chief Technology, Product & Data Officer at Vestiaire Collective. Klemen has an extensive background in finance, data analytics, and risk consulting.
Klemen started their career at KPMG as a Senior Manager in Data Analytics, Risk Consulting. There, they were responsible for optimizing and delivering the publicly exposed compensation process for a leading bank. Klemen then transitioned to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme as the Manager in Data Management and BI. At the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, Klemen was instrumental in building and growing the team and data capabilities within FSCS. Klemen also designed and implemented the data and governance frameworks for exchange of information with 3rd parties. Klemen then moved on to Lazada Group where they served as Group CFO from April 2014 to July 2020. Most recently, Klemen served as Chief Financial Officer at Beat from September 2020 to May 2021.
In their current role as Chief Technology, Product & Data Officer at Vestiaire Collective, Klemen is responsible for leading the technology, product, and data teams. Klemen is also responsible for developing and executing the company’s technology strategy.
Klemen Drole's educational career began with him completing a Type: ACA in Charted Accountancy from ICAEW. Klemen then went on to complete a MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, with a focus on Operations Mangement, HR, Finance, Logistics, Product Design and Development. Finally, they completed a BSc in Robotics & Automation from the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
