Katherine Simmons is a dedicated nutritionist currently working at Making Opportunity Count since August 2022. Prior to this role, Katherine owned The Cozy Maple, LLC, an allergy-friendly bakery specializing in gluten-free, tree nut/peanut-free, and lower sugar baked goods from October 2021 to December 2022. Katherine's experience includes serving as a nutritionist at Montachusett Opportunity Council, Inc. and as both a sales specialist and health and wellness coach at TITLE Boxing Club. Additional roles include preparing food and ensuring allergen safety at Sodexo, interning at Nourse Farm to support community-supported agriculture, and contributing as a health and wellness intern at Sodexo, where informative displays were created for students. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences from Framingham State University, completing studies from 2015 to 2018.
