Ali Ugur Aksoy

Ali Ugur Aksoy has a diverse work experience across various industries. Ali Ugur started their career as an Intern at Turcom Technology Group in 2001 and later interned at Hewlett-Packard in 2002. In 2002, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Isik University. From 2003 to 2006, they were a Research Assistant at California State University, Fullerton.

In 2006, Ali joined SunCal Companies as a Business Systems Analyst and worked there until 2008 when they joined Stone Studio Inc. as a Database Administrator and Performance Analysis Specialist. Ali Ugur worked at Stone Studio Inc. until 2011.

Ali then moved on to Montage International, where they held various roles. Ali Ugur started as a Business Systems Analyst in 2011 and gradually progressed to become a Senior Business Systems Analyst in 2014. Ali Ugur then served as a Director and later as a Senior Corporate Director in the Enterprise Systems department. Ali Ugur worked at Montage International until 2019.

In 2020, Ali joined Vation Ventures as an Innovation Advisory Council Member, where they collaborated with technology executives and advised early-stage companies. In 2021, they became Vice President of Education and a Member of the Board of Directors at IIBA Orange County CA Chapter Inc. Ali Ugur then became President and continued serving on the board in 2022.

Additionally, Ali is an Advisory Board Member at UC Irvine since 2022. Overall, Ali Ugur Aksoy has demonstrated a strong background in business systems analysis, enterprise systems management, and leadership roles.

Ali Ugur Aksoy completed their Master of Science degree in Information Systems at Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technologies from Işık Üniversitesi between 1999 and 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Ali earned the IIBA® Chapter Leader certification from IIBA in December 2022. Ali Ugur also has multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Developing Executive Presence, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), Lean Six Sigma Foundations, RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders, Agile Development Practices, Blockchain Basics, Leading like a Futurist, Transformational Leadership, Digital Technologies Case Studies: AI, IOT, Robotics, Blockchain, and Strategic Thinking. Furthermore, they are currently pursuing a Certificate Program in Customer Experience at UC Irvine, with an expected completion in 2023. Ali attended FMV Ayazaga Isik Lisesi for their secondary education and has also received training from Oracle University.
