Combining analytical ability with transactional skills, Chris has extensive experience covering lease re-gears, surrenders, surplus site sales and strategic occupier-based advice. His occupier-focused experience includes creating and implementing real estate portfolio strategies. Chris also has experience in high-volume asset valuations as well as IFRS 16 and the revaluation of Right of Use Assets.
Building on his expertise in IFRS 16, Chris is currently investigating the revaluation aspects of the new lease accounting regulations.
Chris has also developed his asset valuation expertise working on key portfolio valuation instructions. He is particularly interested in using more efficient models and technology to streamline the valuation process where there are high volumes of valuations.
Chris continues to advise occupier clients on strategic property issues. Some of this strategic advice involves sites with development angles where Chris can leverage the knowledge of other teams at Montagu Evans including planning, CPO and residential. Other projects involve cash flow analysis and option appraisal including Green Book analysis.
