Hannah McDermott

Hannah McDermott is an experienced environmental and transportation engineer currently serving as the Site Response Section Supervisor and State Superfund Project Manager at the Montana Department of Environmental Quality since February 2017. In this role, Hannah manages multiple State Superfund Facilities across Montana, overseeing compliance with state regulations, cleanup actions, contractor management, and public information dissemination. Prior experience includes working as a Transportation Engineer at DOWL, where responsibilities encompassed road design, construction documentation, and compliance assurance with Montana Department of Transportation standards. Hannah's early career involved internships at Mountain Cross Engineering and WPX Energy, focusing on air quality permit compliance and data collection. Hannah holds a Civil Engineering degree with an Environmental Emphasis from Carroll College, obtained in 2015.
