Matt Ballinger

Matt Ballinger has held various positions in the engineering field since 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at GAM Gear as a Project Engineer and an Inside Sales Engineer. In their role as Project Engineer, they collaborated with sales and engineering teams to find creative solutions for unique applications, designed/developed/prototyped new products, and managed, processed, and checked orders. As an Inside Sales Engineer, they executed the technical aspects of the sales strategy, provided technical support and engineering assistance to customers, and managed customer expectations. Since 2016, they have been employed at Montana Instruments as a Manufacturing Engineer II, Electro Mechanical Technician, Operations Manager, and Service/Support Engineer. As Operations Manager, they provided inspired leadership and guidance within the departments of Product Support, Engineering, Customer Service, Production/Fab/Testing, Machine Shop, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Scheduling/Planning. Matt also assisted with HR, recruiting efforts, and employee reviews/evaluations. As a Service/Support Engineer, they corresponded with customers via email and phone to answer questions and troubleshoot highly technical issues. Matt also facilitated training of the international service rep network.

Matt Ballinger attended Montana State University-Northern from 2011 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Prior to that, they attended Montana State University-Bozeman from 2006 to 2008.
