Leon Costello

Leon Costello is the current Director of Bobcat Athletics at Montana State University. Leon has held this position since June 2016. Prior to their current role, Costello served as the Deputy Director of Athletics at South Dakota State University from 2010 to 2016. Leon also held the position of Associate Athletic Director at the University of Northern Iowa from 2002 to 2010. Costello is a highly experienced and respected athletics administrator, and they have played a significant role in the success of the programs they have been involved with.

Leon Costello holds a BS in Exercise Science from Loras College and an MS in Sports Administration from Western Illinois University.

They are on a team with Chris Fastnow - Director, Planning & Analysis, Jason Carter - VP for Research, Economic Development & Graduate Education, and Tracy Ellig - VP of University Communications. Leon Costello reports to Waded Cruzado, President.
