Susan L. Barrett

Susan L. Barrett serves as General Counsel at Monte Nido since November 2022 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University School of Law since January 2019. Prior to these roles, Barrett worked as Corporate Counsel for Health Catalyst from November 2021 to October 2022, and as an Attorney at McGuireWoods LLP from June 2018 to October 2021, as well as at Saul Ewing LLP from September 2016 to June 2018. Additional experience includes roles at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as Law Review Research Editor, Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, and Research Assistant, along with a Judicial Internship at the Pennsylvania Superior Court under Senior Judge John Musmanno. Barrett also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at CCAC and as a Summer Associate at Saul Ewing LLP. Earlier legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at Goehring, Rutter & Boehm. Academic qualifications include a B.A. with a triple major in English, Economics, and Communication from the University of Dayton, and a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
