Shanelle Bhajan

Shanelle Bhajan is a Research Data Coordinator at NYU Langone Health since September 2023, focusing on cancer research at the Perlmutter Cancer Center. Currently an intern with the Bronx Oncology Living Daily (BOLD) Program at Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center, Shanelle engages in assessing the quality of life of cancer patients and caregivers. In addition, Shanelle has been a Resident Assistant at New York University since May 2020, managing resident supervision and addressing safety issues, while also serving as the Vice President of the American Red Cross and holding the position of Cohort President for the College of Arts and Science College Cohort Program. Previous experience includes working as a Research Trainee at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, a Medical Scribe at CarePoint Health System, and a Research Intern at NYU School of Medicine, contributing to various healthcare and research initiatives. Shanelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Global Public Health from New York University, completed in 2023.
