Murali Krishna has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine. In 2009, they completed a Pulmonary-critical care fellowship at MONTEFIORE MEDICAL CENTER. Following that, from 2014 to 2021, they served as a Pulmonary- Critical Care Attending physician at Orange Regional Medical Center. In 2021, they joined Montefiore Nyack Hospital as the Section Chief and Medical Director of Pulmonary medicine. Currently, they are working as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine since 2022.
Murali Krishna completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at Madras Medical College from 1999 to 2005. Following this, they pursued an Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 2006 to 2009.

It is a member of the Montefiore Health System and a partner with Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, providing clinical rotations to third-year medical students.
