Christian Johan Smith has held a number of roles in the past 14 years. In 2007, they were a Design Intern at Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company. In 2008, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Tyco Electronics, where they built and programmed a production robot and managed the production and assembly process of high current relays. In 2009, they founded TrackR, a mobile software company, and served as a Board Member. In 2017, they joined Nomi Network as a Board Member. In 2018, they became a Board Member at Adero (formerly TrackR). In 2019, they became the CEO of Hypothesis Factory. In 2020, they served as a Board Advisor at Asher Levine Studio. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Forta, an AI-Enabled Autism Therapy Provider.

Christian Johan Smith attended UC Santa Barbara from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2009, they attended Santa Barbara City College to study Computer Programming, but did not obtain a degree.
