VP, Ocean Conservation Policy Strategy at Monterey Bay Aquarium

Aimee David is the Vice President of Ocean Conservation Policy Strategy at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Aimee has over 17 years of experience in the field of ocean conservation and has been with the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the past 5 years.

Aimee founded the Aquarium Conservation Partnership in 2015 and served as its Chair until 2019. The Aquarium Conservation Partnership is a national coalition of aquariums and zoos working to advance ocean conservation.

Prior to their work at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Aimee was a Policy Associate for Governance at the US Commission on Ocean Policy, where they worked on the development of the first-ever national ocean policy.

Aimee David has a Master of Science from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Virginia.
