Erika Valencia has over a decade of experience in human resources, currently serving as the Human Resources Operations Manager at Monterey Bay Aquarium since October 2013. Throughout tenure at the aquarium, Erika has progressed through various roles including Human Resources Generalist III, Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Specialist, HR Staffing Specialist, HR Administrative & Staffing Coordinator, and Human Resources Coordinator. Prior to this, Erika worked as an H.R. Administrative Assistant at Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa from November 2012 to October 2013. Erika holds an Associate of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from Monterey Peninsula College, obtained between 2010 and 2012.
