Bret Parker is an experienced software engineer with a background in both the technology and sports sectors. Currently serving as a Software Engineer III at Monterey Technologies, Inc. since August 2021, Bret also holds the position of Regional Soccer Referee for the United States Soccer Federation since September 2006, officiating various soccer matches. Prior experience includes a contract role as a Software Engineer with TEKsystems for USAA, and two significant positions at Raytheon and IBM, where Bret contributed to the development of the Common Test Platform and led initiatives in software security and integration. Earlier experiences include an internship at Bell Helicopter in customer support and several years in package handling at UPS. Bret holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, completed in 2013.
