Robert Grace

Bob has been in business-to-business communications his entire career. He has broad global experience, and for more than 35 years, has worked as a journalist, editor-in-chief, publishing executive, consultant and networker of like-minded parties – especially in the design, polymer and manufacturing industries.

In 1980, Bob began his 34-year career with Crain Communications Inc. in Akron, OH, as an associate editor on Rubber & Plastics News. He worked from 1981-88 in London as an editor, directing the editorial relaunch of European Rubber Journal, then helping to start Urethanes Technology magazine.

He returned to the U.S. in late 1988 to help launch Plastics News, an award-winning, weekly business newspaper. He helped transform PN into a global brand and daily news service with the launch of its website in 1996. After becoming Associate Publisher, he also served as Conference Director for 13 years. In May 2005, he oversaw the launch of the brand’s bilingual PN China e-newsletter and website. He also served as PN’s Business Development Director.

In May 2014, Bob left Crain and returned to Akron to create RC Grace, LLC – a consultancy that helps companies enhance their branding and market presence, find business partners, connect with design resources, secure funding and advance their growth initiatives.
